May 12,  2018

Forty years ago, The Livingstone Invitational Piping Competition was conceived by “Old Bill” Livingstone.

On May 12th, 2018, we will be celebrating the Anniversary of this prestigious contest in a very special way.

The Livingstone is scheduled to take place in the Officer’s Mess of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, John Weir Foote VC Armoury, 200 James Street South, Hamilton, Ontario.

A Piobaireachd contest will be held in the afternoon with a March, Strathspey, Reel, Hornpipe and Jig competition taking place in the evening.

To honour this momentous occasion, we are adding a celebratory Ceilidh at the end of the day.

Tickets for the full day of performances as well as the “After Contest Ceilidh”, including evening snacks,  will be available online for $20.00 per person.

In addition, we will preparing a meal for all competitors and attendees in the Sergeants Mess between the Piobaireachd and evening contest.  Tickets for the traditional Scottish dinner will be available for purchase online soon at $15.00 per person.
