We are excited to announce our 3 amateur piping and drumming competitions for 2010. This year all entrants in the drumming competitions will be entered in a draw for a HTS 800 snare drum donated by and Cameron Drumming Studio and Premier Music International. The piping entrants will be entered into a draw for a set of Piper`s Choice kitchen pipes donated by Scott`s  Highland Services. Each time an entrant competes their name is entered into the draw to be held at the third amateur event on Saturday April 17 2010.

  • Saturday February 13, 2010
  • Saturday April 17, 2010
All events will commence at 7:00 pm.

Rules and Registration

To enter the piping contests click here!- The piping contest will be as follows:

  • Grade 1 amateur competitors shall play a set composed of a 2/4 march, strathspey and reel of the competitor's choice. Each tune shall be a minimum of four parts.

  • Grade 2 amateur competitors shall play a set composed of a 2/4 march, strathspey and reel of the competitor's choice. Each tune shall be a minimum of four parts.

  • Grade 3 amateur competitors shall play a set composed of a 2/4 march, strathspey and reel of the competitor's choice. Each tune shall be a minimum of four parts.

  • Grade 4 amateur competitors shall play (1) 2/4 march tune of the competitor's choice. The tune shall be a minimum of 4 parts.

  • Grade 5 amateur competitors shall play (1) two-parted march of the competitor's choice, being any time signature, once over.

  • Grade 1 amateur competitors shall play a set composed of a 2/4 march, strathspey and reel of the competitor's choice. Each tune shall be a minimum of four parts.

  • Grade 2 amateur competitors shall play a set composed of a 2/4 march, strathspey and reel of the competitor's choice. Each tune shall be a minimum of four parts.

  • Grade 3 amateur competitors shall play a set composed of a 2/4 march, strathspey and reel of the competitor's choice. Each tune shall be a minimum of four parts.

  • Grade 4 amateur competitors shall play (1) four-parted 2/4 march of the competitor's choice.

  • Grade 5 amateur competitors shall play (1) two-parted 2/4 march of the competitor's choice.
