Welcome the Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario the Niagara-Hamilton Branch. A new fall season is coming and with that a new slate of events and what hopefully will be entertaining filled evenings. To make the most of the fall events we need your support. It is the goal of the executive to have great events, but not only twice a season, but rather for the entire season. This can only be accomplished through the help and support of the membership. Your input is greatly appreciated and will help us better meet the needs and wants of the membership as a whole. Come out to our events held in the James Street Armouries in Hamilton Ontario in the upper level of the building at the Seargents Mess.
The PPBSO administers the Piping, Drumming and Pipe Band contests at various highland games throughout Ontario. Several of these contests have special distinctions attached to them, such as North American Championship, Canadian and Ontario Championship.
It is our mission as a branch of the Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario to further the art of Piping and Drumming, but also music as a craft and an hobby in all its various forms. So to kick off the season we would like to welcome you to the Niagara-Hamilton Branch and also to the winter season of the piping and drumming world. We take pride in organizing and running two of the most prestigious solo events, The Agnew-Harrison Invitational and the Livingstone Invitational.
